John Deere Forestry AB is the Swedish sales company for forest machines, headquartered in Märsta, with a large number of workshops across the country. In Märsta, there is also the main warehouse for spare parts for the European manufactured machine models.

Job Description

We are now looking for a site manager for our service facility in Matfors. You will be responsible for the operation and development of the service and spare parts business. The service facility focuses on fast and competent service and being able to deliver the right spare parts over the counter. As a site manager, you will work on the continuous development of the business regarding service coverage and problem-solving. An important part of making this work will be collaboration with other departments within the company, such as salespeople, product specialists, and employees at the head office and central warehouse in Märsta.

Building lasting relationships with both existing and potential customers will be an important part of your work as a site manager. The main focus is to meet customer expectations and maximize customer satisfaction in a profitable way for both customers and John Deere.

The site manager has overall responsibility for the development of the facility. Furthermore, they are responsible for three service technicians and one service coordinator, budget and result responsibility, as well as environment and safety in the workshop. In addition, the site manager is also responsible for spare parts sales, which includes selling spare parts, optimizing inventory, and ensuring a customer-friendly spare parts store.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in workshop and spare parts operations. You have good leadership skills and preferably previous experience as a manager. We consider it an advantage if you have experience in change management and a technical interest. You are used to working independently and have a business-oriented approach.

As a person, you are engaged and thrive in a varied workday where you are given the freedom to work with significant influence, so having your own drive is a must.

Since the position has many contact points, both internal and external, a B driver's license is required, as well as proficiency in writing and speaking Swedish and English.
